MTC Update - June 5, 2015

Been a lot going on since the last blog entry.

We had a great turn out for the Open Water Swimming Clinic & Practice on May 13th at the Longview Lake Swim Beach. There will be more opportunities to swim at the beach on Wednesday evenings, June 10 & 24, and also July 8 & 22. Cost is $15 and registration can be found on Active.com.

The third event in the Downtown Airport Time Trial took place on June 2nd. These "mock" races are FREE for everyone and take place on the first Tuesday of the month. If you are interested in participating please let us know you are coming by "joining" the Event on the MTC Facebook page. Next one is July 7th @ 6:30p.

Results for June were generally faster than the previous month as the weather was nice and the wind wasn't as gusty.  Our winners were Mike "The Biking Ninja" Carlson and Annie "Road Warrior" Altorfer. Congratulations to them and everyone who participated. A special pat on the back to the Juniors we had participate, it was great having some teenagers involved as well!
