Are you looking for an opportunity to:
1. Get in some great training in a supportive environment,
2. Meet some new, fun people with similar goals,
3. Have your questions about the Legend 70/100 Triathlon answered,
4. Swim in the lake, bike the route and run the course you will race on, and
5. Learn from some of the best athletes in the area what it takes to be successful in Lawrence on the first weekend in June?
Quit wasting your time lurking in chat rooms or relying on advice from your "neighbor's friend's cousin who once thought about signing up for triathlon" and join us for the Legend 70/100 Training Camp May 8-10th.
Midwest Triathlon Coaching is the official Coaching Service of the Legend Triathlon and we will be using our experience from running similar camps for the past five years to host the Legend 70/100 Training Camp May 8-10th.
In addition to the Legend Tri, this Camp will be beneficial to any area athletes racing Long Course Triathlon (70.3 or more) in 2015 including Boulder 70.3.
Structure of the Camp will follow the proven plan that has been developed and refined over the years:
- Friday evening - introduction & pool swim session in a 50m pool in the KC area
- Saturday - to Lawrence for an Open Water Swim discussion and practice in Clinton Lake (carpool will be available for those that want it or aren't sure where to go)
- Fully supported group ride of the full route(s) followed by an Off the Bike run
- Sunday - Group run in Leawood followed by a discussion on race day nutrition
Cost is currently $125 but will go up to $175. Discount is available for MTC Coached athletes as well as athletes using the Legend 70 / 100 Event Specific Training Plans.
All athletes must register for the Camp via ACTIVE.com - To do so CLICK HERE
